18th Official Meetup in Davao City | Hive Philippines

The 18th official #HivePhilippines meetup was held last Wednesday and in attendance was @nathansenn, @chrisrice, @usveteran, @viverlie and @jlab88.

The group met at Bo's Coffee inside of SM Ecoland with @chrisrice showing up 1st, followed by Jonas @jlab88 and then @usveteran. Once Gerhard @usveteran showed up, the 3 of them did some chitchatting and @chrisrice finally installed @appics on Gerhard's phone.

@chrisrice is usually helping @usveteran with his #Hive account since a good amount of this is still new to him but @usveteran is active in the #HivePhilippines group chat on Facebook and is the official curator for @steem-ph.

Eventually the group will have their own end-to-end encrypted chat and one of the things they will look into is the work being done by @andrarchy and @openseed.

Viverlie @viverlie and their son Sean actually came with Gerhard @usveteran and together, their family, @chrisrice and Jonas @jlab88 headed to a Lifestyle Center across the street from the shopping mall they were in.

The idea is to try new places and to attempt at finding a place to meet that's more affordable than SM Ecoland but in a smaller building than a shopping mall.

Nathan @nathansenn showed up last and the food was nearly done but he added in some comments about Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and the recent moves we saw in #HIVE last week. With that, the group headed outside and took a photo together before going home after a nice dinner and a good talk.
